Learn from your peers how they've used social networking to improve communication & other issues.

Social-networking tools aren't just for flirting. The evolving world of Internet communication - blogs, podcasts, tags, file swapping - offers students radically new ways to research, create, and learn. Today more than ever, people are capable of publishing their thoughts to a vast audience and open their minds to a global classroom.
The positive effects of social networking sites in education are profound. According to a study conducted by the University of Minnesota on student use of social media, students who are already engaging in social networking could benefit from incorporating it into curriculum.
Join us on Wednesday, December 14th from 10:00 AM to 12:00PM at Minnetonka High School as we learn from current educators from Minnetonka Public Schools and White Bear Lake Area School District who have improved issues in their school by using the online platform, Schoology, that combines online learning, classroom management, and social networking into one easy-to-use platform.
Lunch will be provided to all attendees.
